Its Jessica here, finally making a post of my own on this duo blog to give you all access to my finished work. I've just gotten back from NCUR (National Conference on Undergraduate Research) where I presented my research on Elizabeth Stetson. The feedback I received was delightful and I'm so happy that others were as enchanted by her story as I was. What an absolute journey it's been to get to this point. I have recently been informed that I am currently the world leading expert on Elizabeth Stetson and I am completely honored. The time, work, and dedication put into getting all the information I possibly could about Elizabeth has been so completely worth it and I am proud to put my name on the first complete biography of her life.
My work serves not just as a biography, but also as a look into the fascinating transitions that American education, women's roles, and Elizabeth herself went through during her lifetime. Her story covers such a wide variety of topics, and its important to see how each interconnects though Elizabeth's story.
My poster, which was presented at NCUR, gives a general overview and summary of her life and story and my research overall. This poster is being donated to Stetson University where it will be hung in Elizabeth Hall for all future students to be able to know and share her story. Although the poster presents an abbreviated history, it is enough information to convey some of the most important information about her life. And of course, naturally, should they be inspired to learn more the way I was so long ago, they will find access to my complete work in the Stetson Library Archives.

A year of research and work have led to this, and although I am sure there is more yet for me to uncover, I am for the moment satisfied and grateful. Thank you all for coming with us on this journey to the past as we trekked across Europe with hearts full of laughter, and minds hungry for knowledge. We'll have to all do it again sometime! In the meantime, I have posted here my work so you may all discover for yourselves what it was about Elizabeth Stetson that made me so eager to have her story told!
